John Touey, Managing Partner


As Managing Partner of Trilogy Talent Advisors LLC, John Touey leads the firm’s management committee and serves clients seeking impactful senior human resources and financial officers to join their leadership teams. John has more than 25 years of experience in providing executive search and human resources and management consulting services to a broad range of organizations and industries. 

John is the co-author of A Powerful Team – How CEOs and their HR Leaders are Transforming Organizations, a book that illustrates how CEOs and their HR leaders work together to make a transformational impact on company results. He is a frequent contributor to several business publications and currently serves as a Guest Columnist regarding career issues for CFO.com. John’s work has been cited in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Fortune Magazine, Bloomberg News, and MSNBC.

Most recently, John served as a Principal of Salveson Stetson Group, Inc. (SSG), and a member of the firm’s leadership team. John led SSG’s financial officer practice and successfully placed senior level financial executives with several Fortune 500 companies, both in the Philadelphia region and beyond. Additionally, his functional search expertise extended into senior sales and marketing, operations, human resources, technology, and general management roles.  

Previously, John spent seven years with Right Management Consultants. As Vice President in Right’s Philadelphia Regional Practice, he was a major contributor in the development of new human resources and management consulting services for the company. He worked with a broad range of Philadelphia’s leading companies in this capacity.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Temple University. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board for The Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians. Previously, he was a member of the Management Committee Board of the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia. John is a Past-President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management and has also served on the boards of the Philadelphia Human Resources Planning Society and the Entrepreneurs Forum of Greater Philadelphia.
